Just one for Valentines Day…. The rest in a few weeks.
This Bride and Groom are all the things I love about weddings. They chose a wedding that was simple, understated, yet beautiful in every way. Steven asked his groomsmen to wear dark suits, while Phoebe had all of her bridesmaids in elegantly deep blue and black dresses. Steve from Fairview Gardens worked his magic with all of the floral design, he incorporated one of the most unique silver bouquet holders that I have ever seen. The ceremony venue was also unique as it was held at the Johnson Chapel on the Amherst College Campus, the most beautiful chapel in Western Mass. The reception was at the Blue Heron Restaurant in Sunderland Massachusetts where as always the atmosphere and the food perfectly matched the style of the Bride and Groom. Dancing was all new to me this time…. Jay Z remixes, and 80′s favorites were out!!! This was the first wedding that I have been to where the Bride and Groom had a band for strictly Contra dancing…. and WOW! what a band….. The Band; “Swallowtail” was nothing short of amazing! The guests were on their feet all night dancing and asking for more. This was the most energetic weddings I have been to in a long time. Enjoy the pictures.

This is an older wedding I shot a few years ago with the amazing Josh Behan as my second shooter. I recently had a bride inquire about photography at this venue and while pulling together a few pictures I thought I would make a blog post…. Enjoy.
The Meadowlands is one of the most beautiful wedding venues just outside of New York City in Darien Connecticut. It is a Georgian Colonial Revival house built in 1929 and know owned by the Darien Community Association. It is available for weddings and an amazing spot for pictures.

Jamie and Nick live down in Atlanta and planning a wedding from a distance can be a little tricky. I didn’t ever get a chance to meet Jamie until the day of her wedding which is a little bit strange for me. After several phone calls with Jamie had every confidence and that
